Political Advertising



So, tonight in my persuasion and propaganda class we had a guest speaker from a local advertising firm that's done, among other things, ads for welstone's first campaign, Ventura, Arianna Huffington, Nader, and a number of other folks. Very interesting guy to hear speak. Managed to catch him after class and ask about the more nitty gritty aspects. They contract out for a lot of their shooting and such, but it sounds like they've transitioned from 16mm (35 when they could afford it) to 24p hi-def. He says he cuts everything himself in Final Cut Pro. Pretty cool.

I have more to say, but it's time for bed! Ta-ta for now!
