the answer to life, the universe, and everything

(If you google for the subject, it gives you the proper answer)

So, Life, the universe and everything?

Lets see. Registered for classes recently. I'm going to take a polisci course (Modern political thought - from the 14th century on essentially), two theater courses (Pre-production for film and video, Digital Audio and Midi) and a geography course (The City in Film). I'm taking the geography course because it fulfills my last writing intensive requirement. I still need to come up with three more credits, which will hopefully be an independent study with gary.

We got the sound seen website up which is exciting. It's pretty simple, but I like it.

My body has been hurting a lot lately. My index finger on my left hand has been having spasms where it starts moving on its own, and my right arm (from the elbow down) is hurting a lot as well. Plus my knees aren't too keen about going up stairs anymore without giving out in a painful way. Hrmph.

Found out today that I can't get a CSCI Minor. They've changed the requirements such that you have to take 5 upper division courses plus a 5000 level course. Essentially you have to take more than half of the CSCI major. That came as a bummer, but with minors there isn't any "grandfathering" so I guess I'm screwed.

Otherwise, I've just been busy busy busy. Two papers plus an audio project and a midterm over the last 7 days. That's a whole lot. Another (bigger) paper to have ready within the next 7 days. Luckily after that it's just one more big audio project, one more research paper and a smaller paper on the Aeneid. This is a tough semester!

Been doing weekly breakfasts with Zach for the past couple weeks. That's been pretty cool, to meet up one morning a week for greasy breakfast and to chat about quantum mechanics, macintoshes, movies or whatever. Splendid.

That's all that pops to mind for now, the only other update I'll leave for the technology category.
